The background
Cody Boe grew up in the construction industry. His grandfather and father both founded their own concrete companies. His uncles built a civil general contracting firm. He didn't just observe the industry — he grew up in it, worked it, and eventually built his own company from the ground up.
In 2019, Cody founded Boe Construction — a concrete and excavation company serving Garfield, Pitkin, Eagle, and Rio Blanco counties in Western Colorado — built on contractor relationships, referrals, and Cody's reputation for quality and accuracy.
When the wave of AI adoption started accelerating, Cody didn't just watch it. He went deep — completing extensive AI training focused specifically on how to identify, design, and implement AI systems that create real leverage in real businesses. Not theory. Applied AI for operators.
He founded NextGen AI to bring both worlds together: the operational experience of someone who's run a business, and the technical depth to actually build the AI that eliminates the work.
